Get your overalls and straw hats out, as Thrillbilly will be making their long awaited comeback and playing at Julyfest. They are guaranteed to bring the musicianship and fun so look for them when you’re not scoring in the pits.
How about bringing the youth movement? The Inferiors are planning to rock the joint during the weekend. This local Kimberley band will leave you satisfied knowing more bands are on the way up.
Oh No! Oh Yeah!!! Crooked Line is returning with great new material along with some classic hits from the metal scene. A special request please: Ace of Spades. They have become a perennial favourite and we look forward to their show.
Any jazz enthusiasts out there? Wrong venue – we don’t have any.
Probably one of the most notable bands in the region, Diamond Back from Cranbrook will be taking the stage. We’ve wanted these guys for a long time and if you bother them long enough… say no more. They have a large catalog of work that covers 4 decades of Rock.
Let’s pick it back up with the return of Elk Hunt! Here’s a band without many rules. They are scribed into the history of this event and we are excited to see their return. A team of musicians where Celtic meets Metal and the results are a blast.
Tumbleweeds will make their inaugural Julyfest performance this year. The boys in this group have been here before in other bands, and they’ll bring that diverse sound for all to enjoy. There’s a good chance you’ll be two-steppin’.
Lost Gypsy will find their way back from Cranbrook for this year's Julyfest. You can rely on some tasty guitar riffs to go along with their rock & roll show in the pits.
A band that wants to use as many genres as possible in their time slot is making their debut - 4 Deer Run. The playlist is bit of mystery. All we know is it could be rock, country, R&B, and Tom Jones - all on the same song.
We like to support musicians that hit the road and travel. Zach Kleisinger may be the 20-year old blended version of Leonard Cohen and Tom Waits - except with a much better voice.
Kimberley's In Pursuit will return for their 3rd Julyfest offering. This 2-generation family band has the chops and eclectic range of music to entertain everyone.
Once again, the Foo Fighters are unavailable to play at Julyfest. Maybe next year.
Enjoy the tunes.
